Luca Lang is the President of the Political Committee. He is a senior at the American School of Valencia and has been actively involved in MUN for several years. Luca has taken part in three conferences — as a delegate at VALMUN 2023 and BCNMUN 2024, and as Chair of the Political Committee at VALMUN 2025. Through these experiences, he’s developed strong skills in public speaking, leadership, and diplomacy, as well as a genuine interest in global issues and political debate. Luca is excited to be serving as President this year and looks forward to insightful discussions and a great overall experience at VALMUN 2025.
Lola Soroa is one of the chairs of the Political Committee. She is a senior at the American School of Valencia and has been here since first grade. Coming from a Swiss-Spanish family, she was born in the U.S. and lived there for 6 years. Attending multiple MUN conferences, including Valmun, Bcnmun, and a variety of online conferences, she has had the privilege to experience Model UN from many different perspectives, as she has taken on the role of admin, delegate, and finally chair. Lola believes that MUN conferences can provide useful skills for our upcoming generations, including public speaking, tackling upcoming issues, raising awareness, and fostering a passion for leadership, crucial to our future. Lola has gained many useful skills during her time in MUN conferences and wishes the same for all future delegates. She is honored to form part of VALMUN 2025 and is looking forward to what will hopefully be a fun and productive debate in the Political Committee.
JOSE H. is one of the experienced members of this year’s chair team. Having participated in six Model United Nations conferences as a delegate in Madrid and Valencia, this is his first year serving as a chair. Throughout his MUN journey, Jose has developed strong public speaking, negotiation, and leadership skills, as well as a genuine appreciation for diplomacy and global collaboration.
Beyond debate, he values the friendships and connections built through lobbying, meeting new people, and sharing experiences with delegates from around the world. As a chair, Jose aims to create an inclusive and engaging environment where every delegate feels encouraged to participate, grow, and enjoy the spirit of MUN.
Rodrigo Flores is one of the chairs of the political committee. He is a tenth grader in ASV, school which he has attended all his life, as he was born in Valencia. Furthermore, he entered VALMUN due to his passion for geopolitics and international relationships. He has experienced 6 conferences and this is his first time as a chair.
