Reid Moran is a chair of the Disarmament committee. He was born in San Francisco California, and moved to Valencia in 2019 before the 2020 lockdowns, attending his 6th Year at the American School of Valencia now. He started doing MUN in 7th grade attending his first conference here at VALMUN. It was here where he gained his love for debate and the spirit of MUN, with nine experiences under his belt including BCNMUN, MADMUN and VALMUN, Reid is ready to lead the disarmament committee as the President Chair. It is these very conferences that have helped him to develop many of the skills that he relies on throughout the day including; leadership and communication skills, as well as a love for public speaking. MUN has given Reid some of his most treasured memories and hopes that being president chair of the Disarmament committee will inspire the next generation of MUNers to take the torch of delegation and make something of their MUN legacy.

Catalina Garcia is a chair of the Disarmament Committee. Cata was born in Miami, Florida, and lived there whilst being raised by her Venezuelan family until she moved to Valencia in 2024. She is 17 years old and currently in 12th grade at the American School of Valencia. She started doing MUN in 2024 and loved every aspect of the conferences, especially the collaboration with people all around the world and the personal growth that comes from building confidence, leadership, and critical thinking skills acquired from MUN experience. She looks forward to seeing how delegates approach the topics at hand and hopes for a productive and engaging debate.
