Environmental Committee

Manuela Fernández is the president of the Environmental Committee. She is currently a senior, attending her fourth year at the American School of Valencia. She was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but has lived in São Paulo, Santa Catarina, and now Valencia. Manuela was first introduced to the Model United Nations program when living in Spain during her freshman year at ASV. She has attended the Valencia (VALMUN), Madrid (MADMUN), and Barcelona (BCNMUN), and multiple online Model United Nations conferences. She has experienced MUN from all angles, from an admin to delegate, to chair, and now president. Manuela believes that, as the president of the Environmental committee, it is her responsibility to make it a safe space where all delegates can practice their public speaking without fear, gain confidence, and socialise, this way delegates will obtain lifelong skills. Manuela is very excited to be your Environmental president and is eager to help you with VALMUN and ensure it’s an unforgettable experience.

Aitana Morzan is a chair for Environmental for VALMUN 2025. She is a junior at the American School of Valencia. She was born in Miami, Florida and has lived in Valencia since she was 13. Her first experience was VALMUN 2022 and has also participated in MADMUN. MUN has changed her views on the world, informed her of important universal issues, and helped her develop as a person. She hopes her delegates enjoy the debate and collaborate with each other. This year is her first year as a chair and is excited to have a fruitful debate.

Ginevra Casciani is a chair for Environmental for VALMUN 2025. She is in 10th grade at the American School of Valencia. She was born in Rome, Italy, and has lived in Valencia since she was 7 years old. Her first MUN experience was VALMUN 2023, and she has also participated in multiple MADMUN conferences. MUN has changed many of her views on politics and global issues, helping her grow as a person and a delegate. She hopes her delegates enjoy the debate, collaborate effectively, and have a memorable experience this year.
