Patryk Micheal McGlynn
President
Patryk Micheal McGlynn is the president of the UNODC committee. He is currently a senior, attending his third year at American School of Valencia. Patryk was born in Seattle, Washington, but has lived in Krakow, Barcelona, and now Valencia. Patryk was first introduced to The Model United Nations program when living in Spain during his sophomore year at ASV he has been in Barcelona (BCNMUN), Valencia (VALMUN) and The Hague (THIMUN) for Model United Nations conferences. This is Patryk’s second time ever chairing, first being last year at VALMUN 2023. Patryk McGlynn believes that, as the president of the UNODC committee, it is his responsibility to make it a safe space where all delegates can practice their public speaking without fear, and socialize without anxiety, this way delegates will acquire life long skills. Patryk is very excited to be your UNODC president and is eager to help you with VALMUN and make sure it’s an unforgettable experience.
Dubrovin Rostislav
Chair
Dubrovin Rostislav is a chair of the UNODC committee in the Valencia Model United Nations(VALMUN) program. He’s currently studying at the American School of Valencia but has also studied in both China and Russia. Born in Russia, he moved to China at the age of four and lived there for most of his life before relocating to Valencia. He’s passionate about how MUN can help young people understand and engage with global and local politics, offering practical solutions to real-world issues. Dubrovin joined the MUN committee to help guide other students through the program and to continue growing and learning as a person.
Manuela Fernandez
Chair
Manuela Fernández is a chair of the UNODC Committee. She was born in Brazil and has been living in Spain for two years. She is a junior at the American School of Valencia. She has had the luck of experiencing different MUNs as an admin, delegate, and chair. She is excited and looking forward to being chair of the UNODC Committee. She hopes to create an environment where all voices are heard and respected, leading to an interesting debate.
